Dear Lebanese and Descendants in Latin America,
The second edition of the Lebanese Diaspora Energy (LDE) for Latin America will be held on the 24th and 25th of November 2017 in Cancun, Mexico.
During the LDE Conference of May 2017 that was held in Beirut, the first decree, opening the door to those in Latin America to recover their right to the Lebanese Nationality, was signed.
The LDE aims to bring together the Lebanese Diaspora for them to get to know each other and work together to strengthen the link between the Diaspora and Lebanon.
This Congress will be a great opportunity for you to meet with members of the Lebanese government, representatives of the public and private sectors, bankers, businessmen, academics, and artists, among others.
The participation of each and every one of you is valuable to transmit a strong message of union and commitment in order to build a homeland distinguished by its Lebanese people and a nation of achievements, excellence, and creations.

This is a networking platform to discuss areas of commerce, industry and trade and to follow up with intra-national chambers of commerce and trade on promoting a mutual cooperation where Lebanese Products are considered first, a focal point as part of National Patrimony and second a Lebanese trademark able to compete through Lebanese communities consumption as well as foreigners appreciation for Lebanese Cuisine, arts and designs.
This session aims to highlight investment projects or plans led by Lebanese at home or abroad. Potential of benefits is high and promising especially in sectors such as real estate, infrastructures, fintech, IT, gas and oil and electricity as well as renewable sources of energy among others.
This panel will focus on the role of political Lebanese figures in Latin America and in the contributions, they are making towards the Lebanese communities in their respective countries. It will discuss the achievements, expectations, and hopes.
This session will recognize the main role of education and culture in preserving the bonds with Lebanon and it will discuss investment opportunities in those areas by welcoming new projects like Lebanese schools abroad, learning the Arabic Language, writing and reading to get connected with the homeland, and promoting the good image of Lebanon.
This panel will discuss a road map for Latin America where main players are involved in common efforts to reach every beneficiary of the restoration law. Panellists will be representatives of Diaspora institutions, Diaspora clubs, prominent members of communities and religious figures to discuss how to better enhance and encourage the process while defining role and purpose of each with the assistance of Lebanese missions abroad. This session will feature live testimonies from those who acquired their nationality, and an overview on the economic incentives for those who get this nationality.
Come, share your story, and meet with others successes. This session will honour those Lebanese figures who raise the flag high and make us proud of their achievements. Floor is open for all.
