Dear Lebanese Descendants,
On behalf of the Lebanese Republic and myself I would like to express to you my happiness and excitement in welcoming you to the upcoming LDE Conference, Africa Edition which will be held in Johannesburg on the 2nd and 3rd of February, 2017.
This continental meeting aims to promote the culture of entrepreneurship among leaders like yourselves. Your love for Lebanon continues to prevail in your hearts and your Lebanity remains anchored in your souls and minds.
The LDE Conference, Africa Edition is an opportunity to celebrate your achievements and to share your experiences. It also opens possibilities in building new business partnerships with your compatriots in different fields such as trade, industry and services.
The Lebanese communities on the African continent are always vibrant and dynamic and have contributed to the development and progress of the countries in which they are present.
On this occasion I will also be happy to celebrate with you our new law on the Lebanese Nationality Restoration that was recently adopted by the Lebanese Parliament.
I am looking forward to meeting all of you in Johannesburg, through you, we can strengthen the ties between Lebanon and Africa, and build bridges.

The panel will also discuss whether, South Africa is considered the window of Africa and how the depreciation of the Rand is affecting Foreign Investments.
